Prior Park Part and Parcel
Before we decided to get a ridgeback, I spent a lot of time researching not only the breed but the breeders, having had rescue dogs before, I wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing. I was introduced to Prior Park by Chris Vincent, the RR Club's puppy advisor and from the moment I spoke to Heidi on the phone, it was clear what a caring and conscientious breeder she is. She's friendly, very approachable and more than happy to spend time answering questions whilst getting to know potential owners, and our conversations never felt rushed.
Heidi and Rob are both very knowledgeable and work hard to provide the best environment for their puppies. We were sent lots of pictures and videos of the gorgeous mum Parsley and her litter and were invited to visit Mitzi along with the resident pack when the puppies were 3 1/2 weeks. We were told we could visit as many times as we wished. All of the adult dogs were easy going, intelligent, beautiful and a pleasure to be around. It is a happy and secure place to be a puppy. When we came to collect Mitzi, Heidi gave her a special cuddle and put her on my lap in the car, what is also special, given that Mitzi is ridgeless, her kennel name is Prior Park Part and Parcel. She was treated with equal care and loved the same as her litter mates. She had the best possible start in life.
Mitzi is a confident, friendly puppy, interested in everything around her and her trainer says she's an "optimist," a quick learner. We get lots of compliments when we're out and about, she's a beautiful dog.
