When my search had started for a reputable breeder for my third Rhodesian Ridgeback, a handful of close friends suggested I get in touch with Heidi and Rob. So, I hopped in a car with one of my friends to a show I knew she was attending to see what the Priorparks had to offer, and my goodness I was blown away.

 

As Heidi was busy showing, we said we would get in touch with each other and we would meet them properly in their home environment where I could look at potential mums for my next pup. True to her word, Heidi got in touch and a date was arranged. A very excited me, was again blown away by all her dogs temperaments to a stranger walking into their home, a sniff, some sausages and the cuddles where soon coming my way!

 

From the get go, Heidi provided me with her expectations and we went through mine, and everything seemed to fit like a glove. I felt extremely comfortable with Heidi, Rob and Robs mum Joyce when I met her too, Priorparks are a true family affair. And its clear to see that when you get a puppy from them, why you all become firm friends.

 

A few months later, Parsleys litter arrived, multiple visits, multiple snuggles and a huge testament to Heidi’s breeding when the mum let you snuggle with her babies. Its worth mentioning that one of my personal requests was for a black nose (Never really liked Liver noses)…..I shall let you know how that worked out when I fell in love with Lana….a liver nose from the offset, I simply could not take my eyes off her and boy has she never let me down. A real fire cracker, with the most gorgeous smile, best temperament, a real people pleaser. Don’t think that these liver noses are any different, they are equally as fabulous and much more attentive. I think I can confirm Livers are for me now. Heidi and Rob are very transparent and ran through mum and dads health tests to ensure we knew everything and provided us with as much information as they possibly could. This is exactly what you need from your breeder.

 

Heidi and Rob are following our journey and although you don’t have to stay in touch, why would you not when you have such a great family behind you, and I include all the humans who are owned by a Priorpark.

 

I will be eternally grateful to those who suggested getting in touch with Heidi and Rob, they are really top notch ridiculously knowledgeable ethical breeders.
